Brother Makes Donation to Support Refugees and Humanitarian Assistance through International Organization

Brother Industries, Ltd. (Head Office: Nagoya; President: Kazufumi Ikeda) today announced that it will donate 20 million JPY to UNHCR, the UN refugee agency, to support global refugee and humanitarian assistance. This donation will be made through Japan for UNHCR and will be used for UNHCR's most needed relief efforts, such as protection, education, medical care, and livelihood support for refugees and internally displaced persons.
In light of the current global situation where the number of people forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution continues to rise, Brother Group has been making ongoing donations to UNHCR. These include 500,000 EUR in March 2022, 35 million JPY in March 2023, 20 million JPY in March 2024, and 20 million JPY in April 2025, marking five consecutive years of support.
Brother sincerely hopes that the human rights and dignity of refugees and displaced persons will be protected and that they can live in safety.
