Vietnam continues to experience rapid economic growth, and with rising demand for motorcycles and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, demand for machine tools supporting the production of these components is expanding. In the Brother Group's medium-term business strategy "CS B2027," which concludes in fiscal year 2027, Brother has designated Europe and Southeast Asia, along with China, India, and Japan, as key regions for its industrial equipment business and is working to reinforce human resources and the sales facility network in these areas. The establishment of this new office is intended to strengthen business activities in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region, where further growth is anticipated.
To date, Brother has developed production and sales bases for printers and All-in-Ones, and industrial sewing machines, as well as sales bases for industrial sewing machines in Vietnam. However, this is the first time Brother has established a base for the industrial equipment business for machine tools in the country.
Moving forward, Brother will further strengthen marketing and service support for agents through this new office, build a system that enables prompt response to customer needs, and establish an environment where customers can use Brother products with confidence even after purchase.
