Brother Will Strengthen Its Structure of the Industrial Sewing Machine Business in Vietnam
September 30, 2016
Brother Industries, Ltd.
Brother Industries, Ltd. (President: Toshikazu Koike) will change the sales and servicing functions of industrial sewing machines in Vietnam as follows, and strengthen its sales structure as of October 1, 2016.
In Vietnam, the Brother Group has been selling its industrial sewing machines through Brother Machinery (Asia) Limited (President: Koichi Naganuma, hereafter referred to as BMA) in Hong Kong. However, it will transfer part of its sales and servicing functions of industrial sewing machines to Brother International (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshihiro Nakayama, hereafter referred to as BICV).
The respective representatives' offices supervised by BMA in the cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi have been conducting market research and so forth. Due to this change, the respective representatives' offices will be consolidated into BICV. By establishing a sales structure more closely tied to the local market, Brother aims at improving customer convenience in product delivery and other aspects, and enhancing after services in Vietnam, in which significant market growth is expected in the future.
