Brother Receives High Ratings from Three Major IR Website Evaluation Agencies, Including Sustainability Excellence Award from 2024 Daiwa Internet IR Award for First Time

Brother Industries, Ltd. (Head Office: Nagoya; President: Kazufumi Ikeda) has received the Commendation Award and the Sustainability Excellence Award from the 2024 Daiwa Internet IR Award by Daiwa Investor Relations Co. Ltd., an AAA Website rating from the All Japanese Listed Companies' Websites Ranking 2024 by Nikko Investor Relations Co., Ltd., and the Silver Prize from the Gomez IR Site Ranking 2024 by BroadBand Security, Inc. Of these awards, this is the first time that Brother has received the Sustainability Excellence Award from the 2024 Daiwa Internet IR Award.

Brother has made efforts to enhance its disclosure of information on its website's "Investor Relations" page, in order to provide shareholders, institutional investors, and other stakeholders in and outside Japan with financial and non-financial information in a timely and accurate manner, and to promote understanding of Brother. The company will continue to further expand its website's "Investor Relations" page, and strive to continuously improve its corporate value through active communication with its stakeholders.

Overview of Each Evaluation

Daiwa Internet IR Award

The IR sites of listed companies are evaluated based on the concepts of "Timely," "Transparent," "Traceable," "Trustworthy," "Total," and "Communication," and companies are selected for the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Commendation Award. In addition, the IR sites of companies that have received the Commendation Award or higher are scored on items such as the environment, society, and governance, and companies are selected for the Sustainability Grand Prize and Sustainability Excellence Award.
This year, 4,098 listed companies were evaluated, and eight companies were selected for the Grand Prize, 22 companies for the Excellence Award, and 134 companies for the Commendation Award. In addition, five companies were selected for the Sustainability Grand Prize and 32 companies for the Sustainability Excellence Award.

All Japanese Listed Companies' Websites Ranking

The corporate websites of listed companies are evaluated based on criteria such as "ease of understanding," "ease of use," and "amount of information," and the top companies in each category are awarded. In the All Markets Ranking, companies are selected for AAA, AA, and A Website ratings.
This year, 3,975 listed companies were evaluated, and 208 companies were selected for an AAA Website rating, 143 companies for an AA Website rating, and 186 companies for an A Website rating.

Gomez IR Site Ranking

The IR sites of listed companies are evaluated based on items organized into the categories of "website usability," "completeness of financial and account settlement information," "completeness of corporate and management information," and "proactive and advanced information disclosure," and excellent companies are selected to receive the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prize.
This year, 3,838 listed companies were evaluated, and 12 companies received the Gold Prize, 114 companies received the Silver Prize, and 135 companies received the Bronze Prize.
